Happy Halloween!
Today is halloween as you may have noticed with all of the little people dressed up walking around as darth vader and such. today, i don the disguise of a black iPod nano. Thomas is a glow stick that doesn't glow...but he's not too happy about Halloween in the first place being one of the only people i know who doesn't like the holiday. no one else dressed up in class though and i'm a little sad about it to tell you the truth.
new paragraph, new topic. the birthday weekend was excellent. on Friday, i went over to Thomas' house and baked him a fabulous cake with his little bro. Then we made a ridiculously large banner out of a lot of 8x10 pieces of paper and hung it from the ceiling. all in all it was a great dinner. Thomas enjoyed his pressie and his grandparents even brought me some flowers for my bday!
on saturday night we went out for the most amazingly tasty meal i've ever had at an Italian restaurant called Vittoria Trattoria which is about 5 minutes from my house. i suggest that everyone who lives in and around the Ottawa area, go to this restaurant and manga manga manga. oh...my tummy is rumbling just from the thought of it now. after our meal, we went to see the new Zoro movie which was pretty good. the first one was better, but it was still worth a watch.
i think it's about time i changed some of the side pix over there -->. and maybe the banner too...so i'll just get on that and you get back to doing whatever it is you are supposed to be doing right now. haha. bye!
Blogger Assignment for Class? what?
Well now it turns out that my next assignment for my Web Authoring and Design class involves writing a new blog in here every week. Justi, Sawa and Tara will be quite happy.

Happy Birthday to Me
It's that day again. i'm now 23 years old...and officially am a number older than Thomas...well for 2 more days that is!
Thanks to everyone who sent me amazing ecards (Katie -> BSI = AMAZING) and emails and cards and calls and everything. it was wonderful.
thanks to Tara and Thomas who came with me for a birthday breakfast at Denny's and to both of them for making the day amazing.

So i've been slacking. i have been neglecting my blog.
and so much has happened too...
let's have a quick recap:
1. I went to Europe with Thomas for 2 months and we travelled all around. (see above link to blog for explicit details)
2. I got back with a week to prepare and headed off to Survivor Network Muskoka 2005 retreat which was amazing (Thx guys for the great week!!!)
3. Got back with another week to get ready to MOVE TO OTTAWA
4. moved to Ottawa for school
5. painted Thomas' parent's house while listening to The Bear
6. started my post-grad studies at Algonquin College in Interactive Multimedia
8. went home for Thanksgiving and had tons of fun hanging with family and seeing Sawa, Jenn and Gilli for a little (and i mean little) bit.
9. converted Jenn to an Apple person -> i am happy to announce that she has now purchased an iPod. a minni nonetheless, but still an iPod.
10. woke up this morning at 6:30 to drive 5 hrs to Ottawa and now i'm at school and have been since 4pm (boo)
but alas, i am doing very well and most importantly...it's almost my bday!!!
