spent it on the white stuff

don't let Justi eat the nachos or drink the coke

some funnies

As i checked my email this morning, my aunt from England sent me 5 emails and among them were some particular funnies that i thought i'd pass along. Enjoy.

  • Just remember...if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.

  • "My mother never saw the irony in calling me a son-of-a-bitch." Jack Nicholson

  • I saw a woman wearing a sweatshirt with "Guess" on it. So I said implants?" She hit me.

  • I don't do drugs. I get the same effect just standing up fast.

  • Everyday I beat my own previous record for number of consecutive daysI have stayed alive.

  • A dyslexic man walks into a bra.

  • I went to a seafood rave last week.... and pulled a mussel.

  • What do you call a fish with no eyes? A fsh.

  • and Lisa's favourite: Two peanuts walk into a bar. One was assaulted.

yay woody's ice -> raspberry

Tara you didn't win your bet - i did not get hammered
though a little dizzy at the beginning of the night. i was a little wobbly and Brad, Chris and Theresa were laughing at me.

Housewarming parties are fun
"it sounded like an apple" = "i'm an apple!"
haha

campfire stories

Janie left for camp on Monday. Sparrow Lake Camp in Orillia - i used to go when i was younger.

Fave memory: getting in trouble for our senior prank, which included; raising our own flag up the flagpole, painting on the mirrors in the girls and boys bathrooms, creating a canvas using papertowels and the two posts of the dining hall and painting "Cabin 1 Rules" all over it and trying to tape Cabin 2's door shut (we didn't like them very much).

This is an official shoutout to Janie and her friends at camp.
Hope the Cyms are not a problem. *wink*wink*

jetplanes and naps

I hate the departures gate at the airport. Usually because it's people leaving because i'm broke and can't afford to go away. Lisa's plane leaves in less than an hour. She's going to Italy to study Italian history for 5 weeks. Really cool, and she's going to have tons of fun, but i'll miss her.

The arrivals gate on the other hand is fabulous. Pam arrives on Tuesday at 1pm. Very excited to see her. She is staying for almost a month which should be a lot of fun. And the campers for the retreat arrive a week tomorrow.

Today has been a slow day. Seeing as i was up superlate working on this very blog, i had a nap after my swimming lessons. Let me just say, naps are underrated. If i hadn't promised Tara i'd go out with her tonight, i'd probably pull an old lady and have another one.

now if you'll excuse me, i have to find out about a freezer size and then talk to a man about some ice cream.

and finally....hours later

It's looking more like me now - well as much as a blog page and LOOK like me. I'll probably change it up again soon, but for now, i'm liking it.

The banner is a pic I took of a flower (don't ask me what kind, cause i'll just say "a yellow one") and one of me and Tara because there are so few in existance. We have made a pact to take more. Speaking of Tara, she wrote 4 fabulous articles for this month's Inside Mississauga, including one on George Stromolomlous (sp??) from Much and one on Survivor Network. If you live around the Sauga, head over to your local library and pick one up!

Sarah and I have also now made a pact that we are going to actually write in these things. We want to get it like House 77 where everyone blogs. So comment away on my postings, and maybe even post your own.

Sam wants to know what blogging is: how would you define it? question of the night.

StatS
listening to: Armin Van Buuren - A State of Trance 2004
reading: magazines, i really should get on The Davinci Code though
watching: well i just bought Simpsons Season 1 and Futurama Season 1 cause they were supercheap from my store. and Brad just gave me Roswell Season 2.
msn name: blogging....well trying to

this blogging thing ain't so hard

Well ever since I retired my calendar, Justi and JayZ won't get off my back about starting another one. Seeing as I don't have enough time to do another snazzy calendar, when Brad showed me how easy this blogging thing really is, I thought I'd give it a shot.

Credits go to bloggers that went before me; House 77, Swank.ca, element.water and Pised: Sawa's "Diary" -->cause she doesn't like the word "blog" (or "blob")

And you can't forget homestarrunner.com
